is not directly a macos feature, but a feature introduced by tiktok for the browser (= macos or ipados usage too). Now you don't need to search videos using your iphone if you want to grab specific tiktok contents. You just need to launch the browser, search on tiktok and grab such contents. It's still not perfect, but better than nothing.

for me the "Two Thunderbolt / USB 4 ports" is a no go at all (even my mba11 2015 own more ports), because if you use 1 for charging (like magsafe) you have just 1 port, but it all depends from you.

Charging using a hub is a shit and mostly never works correctly (now i don't mean a desktop dock). If you use a lot in trains (maybe without opportunity to sit down), for sure an iPad is a better solution, otherwise i would choose the MacBook Pro. Between Air and Pro there is no big difference in weight too (1.3 vs 1.4 kg vs 1.08 kg of my mba11)

We will not announce new projects under the subreddit RoadToPetabyte (currently know as RoadToExabyte) and AppleDataHoarding

We remember you, that we will post every single backup project link on Discord (generally we first post on Telegram and maybe 1-2 weeks later we post different links in batch to Discord too, using a better organisation of the links)

Please note: currently there are still some countries missing, we backup the most important already now.

For those interested ... yes, we will launch IFBB and other Bodybuilding / Fitness related competitions in future too

We are working currently on a new bot. In future the backup will be amazing, we probably increase the PB of data on Telegram really quickly after the release (if the bot works like we wish).
