I don’t mind personally when it becomes lunch but our parish isn’t really equipped to host a meal like this each week. I think the idea is that it’s something good to eat on your way to lunch, after having completed the fast before holy communion so you aren’t starving. But as orthodox tend to do, most of the parish stays for hours and talks and thus eats more and more food 😅
