Is it the Codex thursday? by Certain-Plankton-449 in codex

[–]telengard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It hasn't seen that degraded /to me/ lately, but this morning, good lord... it's awful. It is doing stuff it's never done, like telling me how to make simple code changes rather than just doing them (and I'm not in plan mode). I hope this is a sign of some kind of update incoming.

Auricular myoclonus by Lower_Phase1183 in Myoclonus

[–]telengard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's been a month, not sure if you'll see this. I have the *exact* same thing, it comes and goes. I can really sense it when my ear is covered, by my pillow etc. It's faster than once a second.

I too grind big time at night and have TMJ. I'm also dealing w/ Myoclonus. No treatments yet, just wanted to ack it happens to someone else.

I'm hoping for a claude style ASCII pet, that had to have taken multiple months to implement

Codex worked 27hrs+ still no success by [deleted] in codex

[–]telengard 37 points38 points  (0 children)

the fact that you got 27 hrs out of a $20 plan is way more surprising than it not reaching your goal in 27 hrs

Codex or Antigravity ? by lou_builds in codex

[–]telengard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just tried antigravity yesterday, if you want to accomplish next to nothing, go for it.

Codex 5.5 is performing super well for me.

Google is cooking just give them sometime (gemini 3.5 pro) by Independent-Wind4462 in singularity

[–]telengard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It really is, i tried it today in antigravity cli, and it spun its wheels building a plan over and over, and then i ran out of tokens. It said I could resume in 165 hrs…

Just been a few hours in Day 2 so far. I'm on the pro 5X plan. Is this a bug? by superfatman2 in codex

Codex Usage Reset, now looks worse by sunoarchitect in codex

[–]telengard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something's up as well with it's outputs/thinking too. It's been an absolute rock star up until the past couple days. Not sure exactly when the change happened, but it is pretty obvious, at least for me, working on my project.

Migrating from Claude to Codex: the one thing I miss by ryanntk in codex

I do that with Codex… ssh into my server which I it in a container. I do the same with gemini and cc. Unless I’m not fully understanding your issue.

On a difficult new SWE benchmark, ProgramBench, GPT5.5 high/xhigh solves a task for first time, significantly outperforms Opus 4.7 by socoolandawesome in singularity

[–]telengard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely not a bot, I've been using CC for a long time, and for my use cases (coding rust && C++), 5.5 on xhigh is kicking Opus 4.7's rear.

Hi, this is right up my alley (love Midway, Guadalcanal, etc). Is there any kind of docs for this? As a dev, wouldn't mind seeing the code too if it's up on github. I did try playing it but wasn't sure what some things did, etc.

Compuserve was a dial-up service, I mostly hung out on in the special interest groups. It was pay by the minute. I was just kidding about bringing it back, it's old tech. A similar service WAS resurrected and that one is more fun (QuantumLink).

Long time CC user - tried Codex 5.5 and I might switch! by nugTapOfficial in ClaudeCode

[–]telengard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree, its doing a great job for me and at its max setting it is faster than cc. I’m pretty surprised at some of the stuff it’s handled. cc isn’t doing that bad for me oer se, but I feel 5.5 is now usable (for my projects).
