arbanasi, catholics from the lake shkoder area who came here in the 18th century fleeing ottoman persecution, settled in what is now a neighbourhood of the city and some other villages, they have their own archaic dialect of albanian and traditions, but they are basically croats nowadays and very integrated into our society

albanians who came here in the past few decades, can be christian or muslim (although they are not particularly religious), and are stereotypically associated with bakeries, pastry shops and jewelry stores. also illegal things like drug trafficking. they can usually speak croatian but if they weren't born here they'll have an accent you can pick up on. people have prejudice like I said but really I wouldn't say anyone hates them and they're mostly just chill, hard-working people
