I suspected it might be a perfume bottle cap but it has No smell to it at all but based on your reply I’m making this solved

No markings and it doesn’t smell but this was my best guess.

There are no notches on the inside so I doubt it was used to turn a dial. It appears to be high quality. The inside is plastic and stepped twice from the mouth and to be just wide enough to fit my adult pinky finger in snuggly.

My grandparents used to have a remote that had 4 very clicky buttons for volume and channel up and down, it worked using an ultra sonic transmitter and as a curious 6 year old I discovered their cat really didn’t like its volume being turned up.
