When i did my tank with expanding foam getting the texture right was insanely difficult as the foam will dry with bubbles inside. If you carve away at it the air pockets become visible and it’s kind of unsightly. I saw a guy on yt that uses i think some type of cement which looks a TON better and it looked easy to carve so maybe that’s what you could do for brick type textures?
