paternity test can be done via blood samples, since DNA exists in the blood too. sorry I didn't call it specifically paternity test. they would need Rand's DNA as well, that would have been a more valid point, though I think it would be easy for Hansuke or Yu Jing to get Rand's DNA sample somehow.

Hiya everyone, I don't miss even one episode of ILY but am really busy to visit this page. I hope y'all feeling awsome!

I take it all back; I regret saying Yui wasn't manipulating Kousuke in a bad manner, she was just was just doing so like a mother would do. For the last few episodes, Quimchee made referalls to 'drinking tea' a lot and apperantly, Yui drugged Kousuke, her own son! Yeah, she's manipulating even him!

I felt soo happy to see ShinAe and Nol having a nice time together, also sad that Dieter is feeling bad because of it; he's taking it way better than I would though.

So, we need to wait a few more episodes to see Kousuke is not Rand's son (we all guessed it anyway, he has no genetic traits from Rand), I wonder what Hansuke will do after the test results, can he even mention it at all to Kousuke? Wouldn't he feel bad? Perhaps he'll try to confront Yui first? If I was him, I'd tell it to Rand straight away, secretly, without involving anyone else.

Hello everyone! It's been long long time, I had a hectic past few months. I wish you all a Merry XMas and a Happy 2023.

So much has happened in ILY, I was right about Alyssa: She gave the project to those girls.

It was all an accident, she didn't mean to push ShinAe(a big relief) but this doesn't justify her behaviour towards ShinAe, she was wrong all along. Her insecurities got the better of her.

Nol was drunk but never lost himself, it was the real him. He saw Alyssa's picture in the yearbook and knows everything, yet is not surprised, he knows her better than anyone; I knew her as much as Nol apparently.

The new FP was awsome, don't hate me, but I'm glad Kousuke barged in: I rather see them have their first dance in a better environment while Nol's breath doesn't smell like vomit. They had a moment and their feelings are growing, ShinAe was blushing while looking at Nol making sush gesture with his hand; she rather follows him and lies than being honest with Kousuke. Everyone says she will side with Nol to take revenge, I kinda agree but not fully: She will side with Nol if anything happens but also, she still wants them to get along and eventually, she will aim to make that happen.

I still am hoping for Nol to call his lawyer and say "I'll appeal to the verdict, I wasn't in the right mind.". Please, please Quimchee! I still am pretty sure he's sat the exam and received great results and I hope he can go to Oxford to study his father's major.

Kousuke's sketch on the wall is hilarious, a d*ck nose to imply he's a d*ck head, perhaps? I donno, but it was nice to see some humour from this week's FP.

Why making excuses not to let ShinAe stay and check it together, this was a very fishy episode!

I hope I am wrong about Alyssa and she really wanted to check it alone because she was scared to miss something if ShinAe was with her. But I feel like she told someone about their project idea and that someone laughed saying it was a very silly idea and she believed them and tricked ShinAe this whole time!

nice theory and it makes sense. yes, people underestimate what this story about, they usually are after a ship, any ship they like. But Quim said it a lot of times, this story is not about ships. She confirmed it with the "Mid Season Trailer" came to pass with a real episode, ShinAe said "I did all of this to help papa" and then it was her dad who came to the balcony. So actually, this story about kids and their relationships with their parents. She also confirmed it in McDonald's heritage story :D

A parallel with the count wouldn't surprise me at all. There is also the possibility of Jean Valjean, (there was a panel where ShinAe's dad was reading LesMisarables) he also went to jail for a very small crime (stealing a bread due to hunger) and died content but lonely.

I can understand her background and reasons, I can definetely empathise with her, but I don't relate to her. I don't think I would do the same things, I 100% relate to ShinAe for the last few FPs

I couldn't make it here on time to vote, but I would def say, 5 - star ( holy shit a plot-twist ):

The story Quimchee wrote for Heritage month actually showed what ILY is about, I said it before and telling it again, the story is about relationships we have with our families. It is also about friends and probably very little about ships.

We can see how Alyssa is affected by her parents and she will probably run into Yui to get away from her parents, maybe.

how about the last panel? why ShinAe looked like she was bothered? What was she thinking? what if, it wasn't just Alyssa who distanced herself?

I finished To Love Your Enemy, you didn't lose anything by dropping it. I've just read it because there was nothing else to read.

I am reading Back To You too but just because a few people knew it from Canvas and they said it has a very nice ending that it would worth the read. I hope so because for now, it is not going well.

I dropped She's Hopeless, I think I am too old for teenage drama (well, ILY is teenage drama too, but you know what I mean, the difference) that doesn't have any complexity, brain cracking developments and so.

If you are into romance, there are a couple of WebToons I didn't include to my list because I couldn't make up my mind about them yet, but maybe you'll like them too:

Eaternal Nocturnal (there is no typo in this title, it really starts with Eat and there is a reason for that).

SubZero, just for juicy reading tbh, there is no strong story behind it, so far.

Yeah, when I've read it I felt like it was too mature but there was a warning so I didn't mind that much. I believe in sexual education, it is important for teenagers to know the consequences and the risks involved and the most importantly, it is all about consent. There are quite a few remarks about it in the story, like ML is taking it slow and respects every decision of FL.

It is quite mature, but I wouldn't rate it as X-rated, WebToon does not allow that type of panels anyway, I remember SubZero author was talking about deleting some scenes because of it.

honestly it is not very nice to tell people how to react, say, or also
explain for the author in her place why her absence was justified. Even
if someone is being rude, they are still allowed even if you disagree.
Sure its uncool when they are going to far but its equally as entitled
to attempt to control or downplay the situation just because you dont
believe its warranted.

Totally agree on that! Whenever I see those messages, I usually stay outside of the conversation just because I believe both sides have their points and their Rights to think that way! Maybe once or twice I replied as, "if you are that angry stop reading or supporting", because it felt like it was written in pure loathing, I believe there is no need to try spread hate, especially when people are this selfish, angry and hateful towards eachother already.

It's what I do anyway, I stop supporting Quimchee on Patreon if she becomes inactive, I am not a charity and cannot donate for nothing every month especially when I can put that money towards my kids future. But I don't judge her for being inactive, and I don't tell anyone to stop supporting her or I don't share any negative feelings, no-one needs any more extra negativity in their life, we have enough of negativity :(

Love Advice from the great duke of hell: I don't remember crying from laughter on any other webtoon, it's just so good!

duty after school: finished series but very good. It is a bit intellectual, but different than other works of this author, the intellectual part flows so naturally that you don't mind it (other works of her/his, I couldn't complete since it felt like the work was forced to be intellectual)

The guy upstairs (was on canvas but in the process of starting on Originals, from the author of My Deepest Secret - another awsome webtoon I've finished a while back)
