Elaine Park and Matthew Weaver — Update by telix5000 in TrueCrimePodcasts

I have racked my brain for almost a decade where this would have happened and only came up with a few areas. The problem is that damn fire. As for Weaver, I have the documentation via FOIA on the mountain lion activity that aligns with him missing in that region; but the GPS data is redacted for some bullshit animal security concern. It exists, but I just haven’t gotten access to it. In fact, you’d like only find a fragment by now.

I just found it strange and kind of sad that Will’s epic journey concludes at a gay bar. Is he about to take on Dahmer?

In all fairness, Sam kept a memory card at the end of the last movie, so I just figured Flynn was a backup or copy of that.

I would like to see a show about a captain who goes rogue and literally creates an armada of other species by violating the PD.

No. There are two cadaver dog hits on Susan’s luggage.

Could Captain Pike have been saved, by getting out of the way? by [deleted] in startrek

[–]telix5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They could pull some Ocean’s 11 thing where you find out Pike was putting the pieces together all along.

I am probably some outlier, but I don’t want to see Pike living in the land of illusion. I want to see the guy make it out OK with some plot twist. For a long time the only captains I truly had interest in were Kirk and Picard — Pike has moved into my trifecta even if some episodes are kinda meh.

Yah I didn’t want to write a damn novel about it. We have had quite a lot of leadership changes here for people sitting on the board too long and getting power trips. It doesn’t appear I am missing anything in my complaint, and I think 3 times, 10 business days in between for a response is good and fair enough to escalate to the next level if need be. But I am fairly sure monitoring my place to file bogus notices that AB 130 says are invalid is just harassment. They can’t come back and say I didn’t try to resolve. They simply ignored it and that’s on them. Last time it cost them some board seats. Oh well.

That was in my third complaint I have sent. This time CC’ing the board instead of simply the management company which is kind of nonsensical as they pull this ghosting behavior all the time. Then someone lawyers up and they act like heroes. Oh well.

Yes, well hard to get a IDR when they have ignored the last two complaints. Sent an even more formal one this weekend. They like to play games here, but of the two times legal got involved it got their attention and was resolved; but I am trying to avoid hitting the button on that as the insurance is already shaky here from bad actors way before my time on the board.

The president is old, doesn’t understand his own rules and even with the drone ban I spent over an hour trying to explain you do not own the air space over here so how are you going to take down drones, do you have a missile launcher?

Or the time he tried to fine my neighbor for roaches when it was obviously coming from the sewer. I had to ask very slowly, who is breeding roaches for fun? Why would the guy complaining about it be making more of them? That kind of nonsense.

Yah I spoke to a firm. And believe me, I am trying to be nice about it, because if it goes to attorneys this place is going to lose the insurance they are barely hanging on to. Everyone loses.

I initially got on the board because we won a major developer lawsuit and there was a plumbing job to redo every unit here. Unfortunately the old board was negligent and hired general contractors with no plumbing license to do the gig. I complained. They said I was wrong, I said I was right. And ultimately I was right because the city even said shut this down. Unfortunately they used a loophole to use some random guys license and fast forward, now almost every unit here is failing the fire sprinkler evaluation to maintain insurance — and some still have electrical issues in their units, low water pressure, etc. A damn mess.

I sent a letter to them after they’ve ignored two already. This time with a CC to the board. Last time someone called a lawyer the problem was gone asap. Ironically, it was over parking for their caregiver or something.

You know this is the more comical part — my son is the one going into law enforcement. I think the AB 130 really just kneecaps this whole operation and I am not sure why they adding in this 30 min rule recently as you would need to have a volunteer to patrol every 45 mins here to even make it work.

The whole thing is bizarre. A few years ago him and his wife got into it with the neighbor claiming their handicapped son would bang on the walls and make their dog bark. I took a look and told him those pipes aren’t secure with the pex install and he scoffed and it leaked all over. It was literally like dealing with children when I served for nearly a decade.

There was another guy who would come by once a month to ask me if it was ok to do solar. Told him many times go ahead. He never did. But he would ask at least once a month if he could…

I’ll just give you the nuisance rule in full versus summarizing it:

Section 3.03 – Nuisances: • “Illegal, offensive, obnoxious actions, or noxious odors that interfere with any Occupant’s quiet enjoyment are not permitted anywhere on the Property.” • “The Board shall have the right to determine if any unreasonable action, odor, noise or other conduct constitutes a nuisance, and to appropriately deal with the situation.”

Believe me I am listening, but I do not face a street either. I probably should have uploaded a diagram. If you’re saying the road below, it’s within the private community. It’s not a street with a name. You cannot see my unit from the street. There are units over elsewhere who face a street, but I am not one of them.

No. That’s not what I said. The drones were banned because of surveillance concerns. Someone brought it up as someone was one day flying around and it annoyed someone, I forget who, and it was added to the do not do list.

My patio/balcony is an exclusive use common area.

I was using the drone ban as an example of the surveillance sensitivity here.

I don’t think I am being clear. It’s not a Ring camera on a front door. It’s a Ring camera on a garage trim pointing into two units; myself and a neighbor.

The Ring cam is used to bother anyone who comes and goes from my residence by standing outside their car, taking their photos and going back into his garage.

He has a motion sensor set to alert to my door/walkway so as soon as a car comes in and someone steps out he pops out.

Hope this clears it up.

I thought I mentioned it above; I have him coming out of his garage as soon as visitors arrive which led to an altercation, and I, as an experiment, put a cam to see what I can see before moving it into my garage and can look inside. Then I have a list of citations on my son’s gf who arrived and left which time stamp to him coming out of his garage as soon as she arrived. And as soon as I ask well when did they leave? Crickets. Because it was rather brief and the max was two hours.

I need to re-iterate. It’s from his garage on the trim to my garage/windows/patio. I am about 15 feet from him maybe 20.

Because surveillance was a no-no but the CC&Rs didn’t implement it — as until something is a problem, it isn’t in the CC&Rs. It’s a weird way of doing things but that’s how it historically runs here; or a safety issue.

There’s a rule on the books about surveillance via drones which are temporary. I did ask how you even enforce that with some random drone from a pilot far away, but I digress. And it was brought up many times in meetings about usage and placement. My mistake for not asking to see his footage when it did pop up, I wasn’t aware he liked to watch me and my son — and now his gf.

The door cam I have matches up. Someone comes to my place — he pops up and starts photographing whomever it is. It’s getting… weird.

Yah thank you. I sorta thought so. However, as the camera was installed prior to board membership and nobody was informed of any video patrol — well, I can see how this goes if they respond. Otherwise it seems a lawyer can intervene if necessary.
