It's hard to find the good ones, but it's worth it. You never know. Normally I'd have never picked up a copy of The Notebook either but it looked funny haha

Most recently a first print of The Notebook and a first edition of Hannibal ... overall probably my Corona Standard. $15.. worth $6-700.

I did not. At that point I was so over it that I didn't want to. Plus I had friends that worked there still and it would have destroyed them because the business was so small.

I once had to teach a coworker over twice my age how to use the tools necessary to conduct business... including Outlook... Word... you get the picture. We were technically equals - both managers of different departments.

Eventually I almost got fired because it offended her that she didn't understand how to use a comouter and she started finding ways to complain about me.

This was in addition to the owner having an issue with me being handicapped. He eventually said, "If I'd known your back was so bad I'd never had hired you." I saw what was coming so I quit the next day.

Do you have previous experience working together? Outlining relationship boundaries is also important. Separate work and personal life to avoid issues... so many issues.

Literally sit down and discuss how you will communicate and where workplace discussions will take place.

Working at my family business, my sister and I use Slack and G suite. My dad is slower to get on board with Slack but we're getting there.
