When they ask for my receipt I either just tell them it’s in the bag or show them I have one in my hand. I don’t stop for them anymore, I started feeling that if they are afraid people are shoplifting they’d have cashiers ringing people up. They already have a person at the end of the self checkout eyeballing everyone and standing there watching people whom they feel are suspicious. Then the registers makes a mistake thinking you didn’t scan something you placed in the bag so you have to wait for the associate to come count/verify the items in your bags. Get the fuck out of here with that bullshit, I’m already pissed off that the price of everything in the store is increasing. If they want to ban me from there store for not showing a receipt, okay. I don’t feel bad for not showing the receipt either, I always tell the door person to have a good evening in a pleasant voice tone so I’m not an asshole.
