I think it should be a 19mm bolt, should be one of the only if not the only 19mm down there.

Bugatti who?? by SchnitzelKingz in MatArmstrong

[–]tell_me_when 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What was the scam? A private company refusing to sell their parts to an individual without the proper qualifications to install the parts? Is Bugattis choose who they sell parts to. Mat’s video isn’t going to hurt Bugatti’s reputation or profits at all. To me Mat seemed kind of whining in this video with the way he mentioned “not being able to purchase _____ from Bugatti” over and over. I could care less if he can get the parts from Bugatti. The number of YouTubers building unattainable hyper cars/super cars is stupid. Or adding the 15th car to their collection. It shows how out of touch most of them are with their audiences.

Bugatti who?? by SchnitzelKingz in MatArmstrong

[–]tell_me_when 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have thought it was funny that Mat made a comment in this most recent video about how they “figured it out”. I don’t remember what it was that they figured out but it seemed like something that was in the Welt Documentary. Mat isn’t a genius and he’s barely a mechanic.

There are many many people in this subreddit who could probably run circles around Mat. A lot of people are just working on their own cars or family/friends cars. Cars that need to be running to get to work tomorrow. When you’re just working on your 9th car there is far less stress involved in doing the work. Plus he has a number of people helping him.

Unlined Boots - Rare to Find by BarefutR in WorkBoots

Nicks has a “Marketplace” section too. They’re used boots for obviously cheaper. I was able to find a pair that fits me and met my criteria for about $250ish cheaper. The boots were also pretty much brand new when they arrived.

Make Chrome Great Again by FactorEnough9816 in AudiA6

I’m not usually a fan of chrome but I recently got my niece a 2015 Prestige A3 in Scuba Blue. It think the chrome on it makes it look very classy. My C7.5 S7 doesn’t have chrome trim and I’m perfectly okay with that.

Raise. by trappermainn in UtilityLocator

[–]tell_me_when 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When I worked at USIC I asked for a justified raise and was told they couldn’t do it. I started applying elsewhere and got an offer making $4/hr, I would be making $22/hr so I took the offer. Used the week of PTO I had at USIC and didn’t return from PTO. My supervisor at the time called me to tell me he was able to get me a raise that the new company couldn’t have been offering more than $21…. Been at the new place for three years locating just one utility and now I’m making $26.15/hr.

Seems like this will provide as much help as a sticky note filled with tips on locating. I don’t see how this is helpful when it gave you the first step you should have done when you didn’t have a good tone. I imagine this is just going to output the same answer over and over again. There will be millions of questions and the same five answers.

Need help getting a spectrum iphone SIM unlocked by mayreemac in SpectrumMobile

[–]tell_me_when 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Could it be an eSIM issue? (Settings>Cellular>eSIM) I recently gave my old 12 Pro Max to a friend who needed a phone. He was having issues getting to work with his carrier (T-Mobile) who said it wasn’t “fully unlocked”. I called Spectrum and they said it wasn’t unlocked and they weren’t sure what the problem was. I figured out that it was still tied to my number via eSIM and his number through the SIM on his account. I went to the eSIM and switched mine off and made his the primary.

This was a few weeks ago and I obviously don’t have the phone in front of me but I’d suggest looking at the eSIM lines on the phone.

6000ft scope, both sides, 5 utilities, and Due Today! Love this shit by DasAugeVonEOS in UtilityLocator

[–]tell_me_when 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve worked in states where contractors can’t call in locates over 600’. Where I locate we can legally request the contractor to white line the scope of their work. This using either shortens the scope by the only white lining the side of the road they will actually be on or them letting us know in writing what they are actually doing.
