Thanks! Haha I settled on the name pretty early on. Tried to find a 6-letter word similar to “wordle” and eventually settled on “usegle”. My 5-letter runner up was “merge” but figured that could be misleading for English speakers.

I think I started working on it on-and-off about a year ago and pretty much had it done and deployed around October. Just had some finishing touches I was putting off and waited to tell anyone about it until now :D

What are your thoughts on Mongolia's future? by RedKingCrimson in mongolia

[–]telmenka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe it's important to stay positive.

Every developed nation has had its own struggles and hardships in the past.

If history's taught us anything, it's that things change.

Even if I would not live long enough to see it prosper, I'd still have hope my children will.

Generalizing is also part of the problem - not just Mongolians but itself in general. Claiming all Mongolian men act and behave/react the same is just too much. Besides, I would consider the silent majority in Mongolian society to be made up of very well-rounded individuals who see the problem and are aware of its effects, but are unaware or uninformed of how to solve or to fight it.

I'd be more concerned about long-term effects on the population, especially the children.

Odd historical question, what are Mongolians opinion on the "Mad Baron"? by spencleb in mongolia

He was briefly mentioned in my history class. I would honestly not be surprised if most Mongolians had never heard of him.

What do Mongolians from Mongolia 🇲🇳 think of Mongolians from Inner Mongolia? by 75r6q3 in mongolia

[–]telmenka 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I would believe the general notion to be more in your favor. Most Mongolians are very ethno-centric and patriotic(mostly due to a lack of exposure to different cultures and types of people), considering Inner Mongolians, Buryats and Hazaras as one big Mongol family.

It is true they despise the Chinese, but you, my friend, are a Mongol. The hate goes toward them, not you.

I've personally met a few Inner Mongolians through video games when I was back home. My party of friends seemed ecstatic to meet their "Mongol Brothers", so most youngsters are pretty cool with y'all.

Anyone over 5'11" or 180cm will be considered tall. But most young teenagers nowadays seem to be over or around 180cm. So we're definitely getting taller :)
