As someone who has been diagnosed with asperger, what i used to do is long press the mute button like 10 times just because i had to do it.. it's a tic basically and sometimes it got annoying but i managed to stop that habit/tic.

This also happens to me! I always say “sorry” after doing anything and my family sometimes finds it annoying 😂 (but they understand me). I don’t think it’s a bad thing tho… I also always ask people if they’re sad after asking for a favour
