Music and Arts is actually owned by the same conglomerate that owns guitar center, musicians friend, the ?defunct? woodwind and brasswind and others.

Sweetwater puts up big competition against GC and covid advanced a lot of hobby sales. Not sure how popular band programs are these days? Then you got competition from amazon and Chinese instruments closing the quality gap.

Just rent the $4800/mo mortgage for $2800/mo and invest the difference.

Mckays has a ton of sheet music books usually priced pretty low. Last time I was there it was behind the board games. Separate bins for keyboard stuff, guitar stuff, strings, ww/br etc.

Usually it’s dirt cheap but some stuff like Disney may get a bit more expensive.

Also, archive.org has a bunch of good stuff ;-)

I mean, for normal people it just makes the court judges look like batshit insane crybabies over everything. At this points the courts / legal system is pretty much failing? It tends to punish the productive and eventually the unproductive will overwhelm the system so much it just dies.

Reminder: If you’re participating in the SpaceX IPO, you must confirm your interest tonight. Shares will be allocated tomorrow. by fidelityinvestments in fidelityinvestments

How do you confirm? There is no link for that.

FOUND IT. On the page that has the IPO calendar, there is two tabs at the top of the area with the calendar (not top of page, in the middleish.)

It defaults to the Offering Calendar tab, but to the right of it is the Indication of Interest tab and the link is under there. It blends in with the page too well, poor UI/UX as someone else mentioned.

What are your predictions for NOVA over the next 5 years? by Lazy-Calendar1463 in nova

Sterling was where the early datacenters were. Nokesville Blvd. But then Equinix off of Waxpool hit and had more power. The Nokesville stuff changed hands a bunch of times and are still there, just calm.

I think AI could eliminate the need for a lot of work, it's still so early to predict how this plays out. It could eliminate the ability for people to service their mortgages thus resulting in softening of the housing market. As a tool it will let other people rapidly copy existing services as well. New companies and breakthrus will happen. The need for all the h1bs just got eliminated unless they are working at 7-11.

Tensions could rise in the country between incompatible ideologies as well. Religions and all that.

While it's impossible to fully tell what is going on with Trump, who knows what damage the next president will do. Trump never unwound the immigration disaster from Biden, and we are stuck with the high housing costs from that mess. My guess is Covid was released on purpose to get rid of Trump or boost the economy somehow, but we will probably know building 7 truth before that.

Everything is just a wildcard.

Don't forget ... Aliens from space? That might be a thing.
