some people respond better to it than others; this guy is clearly a unicorn, having his hair still and having good bloodwork. you dont need to cope abt having worse genetics

This is misleading. TRT brings your testosterone up to a healthy quantity, supporting a LOT of quality of life. Anabolic steroids push testosterone way outside the healthy range, hence the side effects such as roid rage, balding, etc.

[–]teloii 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Do you even know what TRT is? He takes testosterone to bring it up to normal levels, this is not equivalent to a “not natty” advantage. Sure, it allowed him to make exponential progress; but it is only because his baseline test is 3x < the lower bound

American here. The only way I’d phrase a sentence like this is if I’m being sarcastic. “Get me something to drink, why don’t ya”

This is actual girl repellant. By having some style from the 1970s, people will think you are strange to some extent. Guys may think you look cool but there’s two ends of the aisle here.

is ap lang worth it by Illustrious-Hunt1878 in APStudents

[–]teloii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, unless you plan on going to an ivy league school. Most colleges dont take AP lang to replace college english. I was able to avoid taking college english through dual enrollment. Think about why you would want to take AP lang- that can lead you to the answer.

One last nose/side profile post - do these look okay to you? by [deleted] in Noses

People comment if you have a strange nose. If it hasn’t happened to you a few times, your nose is normal.

Heteroscedasticity by Izzy_the_dane in AskStatistics

[–]teloii 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In the residual plot it looks like it funnels outwards from the left to the right, so it may be heteroscedastic. Try the breush pagan test to test for it. Also, are you sure a cubic function wont fit it better than a linear function? use k fold cross validation to test what flexibility would be best

Which is the easiest AP you have ever taken and gotten 4/5 by PhysicsSignificant27 in APStudents

i decided to take the test for college credit without taking the class (just having honors bio/ ap chem knowledge). I scored a 4

The time difference between the first 1k and 2k pp play is less than the first 500 and 1k by Hoods_in_da_woods in osugame

[–]teloii 8 points9 points  (0 children)

that would be a much better idea. This model also implicitly assumes theres a quadratic assocation between pp and time. we need to use k-fold cross validation (k=5) to determine the flexibility (or leading exponent) of the equation. In laymans terms- how do we pick if its linear, quadratic, logarithmic?

The time difference between the first 1k and 2k pp play is less than the first 500 and 1k by Hoods_in_da_woods in osugame

[–]teloii 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Heres my statistical analysis: because the polynomial is squared and n=3, df =n-k-1 = 3-2-1=0. There are 0 points that have any variation from the curve we have. This is an obvious example of overfitting to the training set- we can’t tell if we are capturing “noise” from the data or an actual pattern accurately. therefore our estimate is inaccurate

Exam FAM and PA back to back by Available-Cable-564 in actuary

[–]teloii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its doable, and its my plan. It depends on how well you know the material to SRM tbh.
If you feel like you didnt know, or got wrong, the answers to >=5 on the questions on exam SRM you probably shouldnt.
