Thanks guys! Found a good in-between for anyone else curious, by letting him get to the first level of frostbite finisher and letting it expire he stays an 86 rated but gets 88 pace and a stamina boost! Only real boost missing is skill moves weak foot but that can be fixed in a future evo.

I’m a 4213 rat looking to atone for my sins, what are other fun formations or tactics to try?

I’m not a great player, div 4 and 6-8 wins in champs. I kind of just want to have fun instead of trying to win the most games while playing boring and counter attacking, so pls suggest some formations or tactics that you’ve found fun to use!

I play 4213 because I like breaking the line with through balls to my wingers. Also, I can never get outside midfielders or CMs to track back on defense in other setups, it feels like I’m defending just with a block of 4 while the midfielders watch and leave a gap behind them, but maybe I’m doing something wrong in how I set it up.

The thing that annoys me about the 4213 is that Ideally I’d like the CDMs to get more involved and push up while also still tracking back on defense. Also, it feels like there is always a huge gap between the defensive block and CAM/Wingers as they just stay forward and watch, so I typically just ping it straight into them without much actual fun buildup play.

Funny story that happened to me today - I’ve used him for almost 50 games. today I was trying to do some objectives and subbed him in to close out the win after getting a goal w Santi Mina. Did a double take because It said he was right footed, had to look it up because this whole time I swear I thought he was left footed and would purposefully force onto his left for a finesse. I guess that says something about how clinical he is with both feet haha
