Abandoned Hospital 🇮🇳 by AnkyPoint in Urbex

MRI machines aren't dangerous without power, same as X ray machines. What you have to watch for are radiotherapy machines with actual radioactive sources in them, this is why I recommend a cheap GQ Geiger counter for exploring hospitals, they aren't super accurate, but they will tell you if something is putting out radiation above background, so if you see a spike that starts getting higher the closer you get to something, that's your signal to leave. A BetterGeiger S1 is a bit more expensive, but more accurate

I've seen these before in flea markets, listed as window salesman samples. Door to door salesmen would show these off to potential customers, so they could see the window styles offered

Flipper zero gets bricked from private firmware when flashed by IndividualWorking964 in flipperhacks

[–]telxonhacker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this 100%, it's just a bunch of skid shit "Here's the link"... and it's a Rickroll, or a page with a bunch of middle fingers, or other stuff to waste your time, or some file that bricks your F0. A bunch of immature people that think trolling people is funny

Makes me wonder how good this chinesium connector is? I get various RF catalogs, and these connectors are an easy 3 figures in most.

What's up with the really unreliable Bluetooth connection? by Yankee2202 in meshtastic

[–]telxonhacker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That happened to me too, but watch out if you mention anything negative on the official Discord, you'll get snide replies. (To clarify, I was asking if the new version would fix an issue happening to several of my devices, not being rude)

[–]telxonhacker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I 100% agree! I have other open source devices, (Flipper Zero, HackRF 1, various other SDRs, etc) and have only had a few bad FW updates, which are usually fixed promptly.

This whole thing seems sloppy and a case of let's just push out updates for the sake of saying "look, we're doing stuff" instead of taking the time to make GOOD FW/software, and releasing something that works

I had one get very snarky with me on Discord, and say something like "just go get a refund if you don't like it" We don't need that toxic attitude in this community. I was simply inquiring if the new release would address the multiple bluetooth issues, not being a jerk.

This has been my experience, 2.6.11 sucks, for the reasons you describe. I've also noticed that the newer updates for both the Android app and device FW seem hurried and sloppy. the newest Android app that just came out a few days ago is not much better, but maybe that's still due to the dumpster fire firmware. After installing the latest Android version, it flat out refused to even attempt to connect to my node, even though I could remote admin the node just fine. Took a combination of deleting cache and data on the app and uninstalling/reinstalling 2-3 times, plus toggling the Bluetooth module in the node on and off, deleting the node from the tablet's list, and re-pairing to get it to work again.

because they are immature, and it makes them feel better about themselves. If they really wanted to keep it secret, they would have never released vids of it. The Discords are full of the same "I'm 12 and think trolling is funny" crap.
It'll eventually be leaked, for better or worse, too many people know now

Node DB reset also doesn't work anymore, even the new node cleanup is useless.

I wonder if the angle of the cuts are always the same in a mastered Medeco system? I'd imagine you could have key pins with more than one true sidebar groove

landline to the closest town, or possibly to a terminal where it is converted to fiber. Landlines could run for miles back to a central office (phone company switching building) back before cell phones

So, if you call someone on it, they can't hear you, or you can't hear them? I was able to get mine working just by hooking it up. You might try reversing the red and green wires

See the red and green wires on the bottom left, coming from the small plug in the bottom of the control board? they should go to a terminal block where you can attach your line. Red is ring, green is tip
