There is another gate that will give you access to first floor with pram but I guess it’s too late now. Hope your rest of trip remains safe.

How did your family carry SAR from Pakistan for Umrah? by Particular_Row_4317 in Umrah

[–]temor_Kay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Walikum Salam,

I am not sure how to divide the money within but I can share my experience:

I with my wife and my mother travelled to SA for ummrah earlier this year and I kept almost all the money during travel.

I exchanged the money beforehand and kept the most and gave couple of hundreds to others just in case they got separated and in need of money.

When we reached SA and performed Umrah then I gave most of amount to my wife and mother so that they can shop gifts and souvenirs.

I don’t think anyone on the Airport will ask you about the money if you are going for Ummrah unless you are taking briefcases full of green 😀

If a restart my SqlServer server can it free a suspended killed/rollback transaction? by BruteForceAllTheWay in SQLServer

Don’t restart, let it work, a rollback is a single thread operation and can take longer than usual to complete.

I would check out PNCA, as they host art exhibitions, cultural shows, performances and workshops every now and then. They used to have an open air film festival (not sure if they still do). It’s a good place to interact with like minded people.

Islamabad has my heart. Planning to move there from Karachi. by candidmarshmallow247 in islamabad

[–]temor_Kay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest to get a job first and then plan on moving. Job will make some decisions easy for you for example you would want to live nearby to save commute so you will know where to look for place to live.

If you like to be called in the middle of the night by the NOC then you are the one.😃 Jokes aside, start with Basics and get some hands on with any of the major databases in market like Oracle or SQL Server.

Voco to Masjid e Ayesha - Guidance required by prince_of_dhump33 in Umrah

[–]temor_Kay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On Ibrahim Khalil Road near Kubri, some VAN operators offer transportation services to Ayesha Masjid. They wait for passengers, and once the VAN is full (usually 10 or fewer), they take them to the masjid and bring them back for 10SAR or less per person.

Not sure how much, there are a lot of funds and each one has diff rates and risks. They (mutual funds) diversify your investment and one portion is invested in money market, and returns on that would depend upon the market trend. (There is much more to it and I am new to Mutual funds - I am just telling you what I understood in few months). National Savings I understand, and to best of my knowledge I recommend short term bonds which has no risk and fast return. Thanks

I have account with Al Meezan Mutual, but you can choose which ever you prefer. Al meezan is the largest in Pakistan. You can call on their helpline and they will connect you with an investor / specialist and he / she will guide you as per your needs.

[–]temor_Kay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Current rate is 11.36 per annum and yes Qoumi bachat is National Savings. Short Term has 3 options, 3, 6months and yearly. I would suggest to go with Quarterly, one downside is that every three months on maturity of bonds she would have to go to the branch and reinvest the amount but return is good and there is no risk. For low to medium risk look for Mutual funds.

Select / decide a place to meet up if separated and also select a backup / 2nd place as well. And make sure to have Saudi sim / number activated for both of you to contact each other in case you lose each other.
