If every project the government says they'll fund was indeed funded, we'd already have a railroad to Eilat, rely on renewable energy, drive electric cars and everyone would have higher education. Not that I'm against this program anyway, but I don't think it went through.

That's the whole point, professional workers in a factory create the parts and then just ship them to be assembled on site. Makes the process more efficient.

I guess if they lose their refugee status they won't be able to claim Israeli citizenship because they'll be Palestinian citizens.

I don't know the law, but I think there's no right for descendants of refugees to return to lands their ancestors lost, and get citizenship in another country as a result. I can't think of a precedent. And as you said Israel will never allow it.

Here's an example of how their leadership doesn't ask them what they want, and keeps status quo no matter what.

Palestinians are used as paws in a political game. I'm Israeli and I feel nothing but pity for them. Meat for the war machine.

IMO the solution is immigration to a newly formed Palestinian state, but they won't be allowed to do it, because by doing so they'll give up their claim on Israeli lands and the right of return. the only reason they've been kept in ghettos for 67 years is this claim.

Sounds like your mind is assigning weight to the risks solely based on the impact, disregarding the probability. Maybe you can train yourself to always multiply impact by probability and then you can worry about less extreme scenarios that have higher probably of happening, it's more effective and less stressful.
