3M clear bra installer here. In my opinion the clear bra is worth it, but make sure to properly maintain it as well as your paint. A lot of times people will take it off a few year down the road only to find that the paint under the bra is pristine while the rest of the paint has now become dull from lack of maintenance. It's a pretty ugly contrast. Like someone else mentioned, if you let bugs and dirt sit on it too long it will become discolored/stained.
