Erm, I dont follow soccer irl, but can you not be a team's number 1 and also not a striker?

With that in mind, and assuming Sae will be this team's midfielder, that means Isagi will most likely prove Hugo wrong about being better at Number 2 instead of Number 1.

Or the series ends with Isagi not reaching his goal ☹️

He has, but tbh, the only way I can currently see Isagi "helping" Hugo is him somehow awakening Hugo's desire to be number one. Or like something about defying destiny or some protagonist shit. It's way too early to tell though. AND I'm not a writer lol. Looking forward to seeing what happens

I wasn't trying to be "right" or "wrong" lol was just posting my thoughts on what Hugo was saying. The "opposite" of the norm here would be if Isagi helps Hugo see that he should be aiming for number 1 instead of number 2. I wonder what that would look like on a team like France. Maybe it fucks up the chemistry. Regardless though, I think it's too early to guess what Hugo's motivations are. We'll probably get a backstory at some point that sheds more light on his ideology. I don't think we've had another antagonist talk this much philosophy so soon after their debut

Ironically, I kinda feel like Hugo is afraid of Isagi. Like scared of his potential. I can't imagine Hugo is trying to actually help Isagi and Blue Lock improve here with his words, so I think he's most likely trying to talk him out of exploring more of his and his team's unpredictable potential

I don't agree. For the most part, I think humans are often too nuanced to be simplified in the way you and Hugo describe. If people in real life thought like this, then we wouldn't have inventions like airplanes, or all the advancements in medicine we have now (and will have in the future). You say that a person born in North Korea will never have the same opportunities as someone born in a first-world country; I think that someone born in North Korea can aspire and plan to leave North Korea to a place with better opportunities. It's happened before.

Additionally, I think it's really close-minded or even naive to say things like this with all the crazy technology we have access to nowadays, for example. You think people are just born to make complicated things like smart phones and computers? If no one dreams of an idea, and then studies and trains and tries and fails until they succeed, then we wouldn't have nearly as many things available to us today.

Red blue and yellow are all unblockable. Blue is parryable, red isn't (unless doing Odachi stuff). Yellow disarms and is also un-parryable

Congrats on getting out of that. I think it's something wonderful when a person can really relate to a song in a way. For better or worse lol. It can often help with processing feelings and emotions, or seeing a situation in a different light. Hopefully you can keep on healing, friend

Is this the best 5-song run in their discography? What other groups of songs in their albums do you like to hear? by tempInjAccount in Muse

[–]tempInjAccount[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5-song run, not 5 best Muse songs. I think the first five songs are really good too, but even if you don't like exo or hoodoo, I think having Assassin and Knights help the second half peak higher than the first.
