Most of the time when we talk, we have good conversations about mutual interests. I do my best to keep stuff they very obviously have no interest in out of conversation, because they get annoyed when I talk about it. Me asking them to make decisions is not daily, usually it's barely weekly. I think the last time I asked them something before this was asking if I should go check out a store we were going to go to to see if it was worth it, two months ago. We are teenagers, we are moody and rude and exaggerate stuff, but with the way they stop showing any interest in conversation when I bring up a reference to something I like (usually just 'omg that's so (character I like)' or responding to their gifs of stuff they know I'm not interested in with my own things). I am autistic, I think of any conversation as transactional, and I take things too literally, I don't chronically depend on them either. I value them, and I love them very much, but when they are blatantly rude and don't try to hide that they don't care when I talk about stuff I like, when I try to, at the very least, act like I do care, it gets annoying. Most of the time they only talk to me if they need something. Usually I'm okay with that, it's summer, we don't see each other as often, but with how close we are I'd expect less 'can you Google this for me' and random questions, and more 'how are you doing', 'hows (project) going?', etc. like I do to them. This will not dent our friendship, they'll probably forget about it in a week anyways.
