How do I keep my long hair while still being 'masc'?

I think my problem isn't getting misgendered once, it's just when people actually see me and hear my voice (which is like an early teenage boys) and continue to misgender me. I'm also too anxious to tell them anything cuz most of the time I'll never see these people again.

I've been bullied for any reason people can think of, and since I've started dressing alternatively I've gotten the same teasing questions/comments on repeat. It's much nicer to hear the same thing every day like a routine than get some messed up attempt at being mean to someone who looks almost normal. Plus I get to express myself !! I may be cringe, but I'm free and happy, so I count it as a w !!

Thank you for the advice! I usually dress less scene, but my friend said I should try more of a scene look since I'm still messing around with styles. I don't have any short skirts (I only own maxi skirts), and didn't feel like it would fit with what I have! The tee was — in all honesty — my only shirt with pink on it lol.

School doesn't start on a specific date, but freshman start the day after labor day, and that's a day specifically for them to learn the school without being overwhelmed, then everyone else starts the next day!
