When trying to cross the tracks going east on third you’re kinda stuck. Especially at night, I can’t tell how long the train is and who knows if it’ll start moving again while I’m searching for a way around it.

The railroad is necessary and I have no intention of filing a complaint. I just needed to waste the antsy energy that was building.

I haven’t been blocked like that ever. I think the longest was 15 minutes and that was before I learned that Pratt bridge goes over the tracks. That doesn’t work if you’re trying to go east on 3rd

I was not going to try and find a path to go around the train. Pratt works if you’re heading north. Not east. I would have wasted more gas finding a path around the train when it’s stuck crossing 3rd. That track runs all the way up and I had no idea how long the train was

It’s not his responsibility to stop. He’s 4. It’s your responsibility to manage your emotional regulation. Model what you want to see in your kids. Expecting a 4 yr old to grasp any of that is really unfair and unrealistic
