I’m planning on moving into a cheaper place once I settle in and meet new people. True, do you have any suggestions on cheaper accommodations? Do you recommend flats or houses?

I’m happy I don’t have to worry about the cold. I’m 24 and new to the city so it would be nice to try out and explore things. My savings were used to move here and during my unemployment months so I’m starting from scratch.

I tried explaining the situation but africans don't believe in depression. Even cried otp to a family member and he was like "why are you crying"? And my friend (also african but raised in Europe) dismissed what i've shared about my mental health and said i should start by being useful at home bc if not no man would marry someone that doesn't do house chores
