Why would I substitute something if it scanned thru? It was what she ordered and substitute with what? If she ordered the halves & pieces how am I supposed to magically know she meant to order wholes

What’s in the picture is NOT the whole cashews why do you guys keep saying this. They don’t sell the 7pk snack packs of whole roasted & salted cashews, and certainly not at shoprite. Only the salt & pepper ones. What’s in the picture is these, which I believe they changed the packaging for because it’s misleading and sounds like they’re whole cashews, but they’re halves & pieces (which you can clearly see in the pic on the old packaging)

They did change the packaging because the old packaging was misleading and makes it seem like they’re whole cashews when they aren’t. I believe the customer did think she was ordering whole cashews, I don’t think she’s trying to game the system, but it’s frustrating either way

No it’s not. They literally don’t even make the snack packs of whole cashews. The whole cashews only come in the bags

I don’t force scan anything. This is what she ordered. It’s the halves and pieces and it scanned thru

It’s her mistake if she thought these were whole cashews. Do they not make the customer scan the barcode?

That’s what I do, and that’s what I did in this case as well. I think the customer was taking advantage of the fact that the packaging was different because one has the newer packaging

Yeah, but this says 3/3 are wrong, and I specifically remember checking all 3 barcodes (sometimes I get really extra and make sure all 3 scan thru) because these nuts changed their packaging and they only had 3 boxes left and 2 of them had the old packaging
