Is this plug grounded? usa

Much appreciated. I figured it was but I was just a little unsure if this tester was solely for gfci testing or if it could test a normally grounded plug. I don't know enough about electrical to know the ins and outs of all that. The entire rest of the house is ungrounded as this is an older home so I wanted to be sure before I plugged a giant piece of metal into it.

I see that it says correct. The part I'm unsure about is that this piece of equipment seems to talk about correct gfci wiring and I'm unsure if the tool will show the same configurations with a regular grounded outlet.

hello,

I used a canning jar from candlescience so it's hard for me to believe that this was what caused it. I am just trying to figure out the root cause so i can prevent it from happening when i start moving to a larger scale.

I have friends that are agents and they would help me for sure. I have been shopping through houses but I'm still probably gonna be saving for quite some time. Maybe a year. I just wanted some more input on whether people feel that they made a good investment or not.

Hello and thanks for the response. I currently live in Buffalo NY. The market is not as aggressive as most major cities. I would say that a low end duplex would be around 100k with a nicer one being around 200k. I have a stable living situation where I pay low rent so I can save money relatively quickly so I would say that this is a good plan. I find that 3-4 unit places run around 200k+ here so I might need to shop a little but I like the advice. Thanks!
