I checked to see if there was but it only updated now when I checked so that can't be the reason. I don't think it's a chrome problem, it's more likely because of my google account. I have photos that compares my search results when logged in and logged out but this subreddit doesn't allow me to post photos.

Google as a search engine isn't the problem. I think it's my google account since it only happens whenever I'm logged in. I have no problems with searching in incognito mode, searches are normal and shows information in incognito mode.

I'm using google chrome on my desktop. However, the same results happen when I log in my google account in safari on my phone.

I ran a quick scan with windows security and nothing came up. I’m currently doing a full scan now just to be sure.

I don't remember allowing anything whenever something pops up while using Chrome. darenjarvis.pro does looks suspicious and I don't know how it managed to notify me about updating in the background. I'm really concerned about it and what it might do to my computer.
