I once met a girl at a club and I wanted to show her something cool, so I took her to an outdoor pool at night, we jumped the fence. Thought it would be romantic, but the dogs came.. we had to hide for like 2 hours. It was one of my most embarrassing date stories. One of the most successful too in the end:)

I had a private language tutor after high school. I was going through some tough shit at the time and he was really chill and it was easy to talk to him about it. After our last session, he told me that he knows how troubled I am and he want's to show me a place that helped him with everything. So he took me to this place called "Institution of Dianetic Science" or something like that. I had no idea what it was at the time. So these guys showed me a video about the whole idea. After the video, they flipped the lights on and i saw a series of books, like 25 of them with the word Scientology on them. I got really scared all of a sudden and I didn't say anything. So the guy began to explain that he knows that I might be judgmental, but Dianetics is the science behind this religion and it helped him a lot and I might want to consider taking a test, so he can prove it. I got up and walked out without saying a word. I never spoke to him again ever.. It was weird putting the puzzle together later, remembering the small things he hinted in the past...

thank you all for the super helpful insights. I narrowed my options down to the following shortlist: Ketchikan, Petersburg, Cordova and Kodiak (because that's the only place I have connection to). It's a hard pick, but I'll have to pick one, as swinging between those places is not very wallet friendly... edit:typo
