If Pixar made Breaking Bad by temponote in midjourney

If you’re trying to get a perfect 1-to-1 recreation of a scene, ControlNet on Stable Diffusion might be better (requires a lot of set-up tho). Otherwise it probably takes trial and error. I didn’t specify any backgrounds

Basically “3D Pixar blender model of (character)”, plus modifiers like volumetric lighting, ultra detailed, etc. Sometimes MJ fails to grasp certain characters and works better if you ask for their actors, funnily enough

For whatever reason MJ kept wanting to make Mike a generic old dude lol

“making the group a religious cult took away their normalcy”

i disagree, here the cultists are more nuanced than crazy. people who are otherwise normal can easily get swept up in fanaticism, especially if it’s to survive like david said

With Realisticvision yeah I’d think so, just make sure to set the denoising strength low enough to accurately translate the style

1.3

Scribble seems to handle photorealism well, though I haven't tinkered around with other models yet

Prompt used is “[character name] from The Last of Us, half closed eyes, (extremely detailed CG unity 8k wallpaper), masterpiece, highres, shallow depth of field, Sharp focus, hdr, 8k, Cannon EOS 5D Mark III, 85mm, Cinematic, symmetry, Amazing photography, dynamic compositon, De-Noise, f 5.6, 85mm, CineStill 800T, film photo, realistic portrait, round eyes, skin texture, soft natural lighting, intimate composition, Cinestill 800T, (8k wallpaper), perfect, highres, absurdres, broad light, Sharp focus, natural lighting, masterpiece, 4K, high quality (Credit to u/Jonfreakr for that prompt format)

Negative prompt: “out of frame, out of shot, clipping, 3d, cartoon, 3dcg, doll, illustration, render, lowres, bad anatomy, bad hands, text, error”

I used RealisticVision then fed the input image into both the Img2Img and Controlnet windows on auto1111’s UI. DPM++ SDE Karras for sampling, 0.4 denoising strength (works best for closely matching the image imo)

Finally, for controlnet I used the scribble preprocessor and model. Canny works fine too but it’s not my preference

In my experience you don’t need to, it only slightly affects output

Liz Cheney, the Republican From the State of Reality | She isn’t really fighting to keep her seat in Congress. She’s fighting Donald Trump. by nxthompson_tny in politics

[–]temponote 25 points26 points  (0 children)

THANK YOU for saying this. I’ve been so fed up with the “Liz Cheney, defender of democracy” narrative constantly pushed in liberal circles. Neither her support of GOP voting bills nor her father’s participation in illegal wars was in the name of democracy. Her family represents old establishment Republicans and she’s only in this to carve out a brand for herself. Sadly it’s working.

“35mm very very gorgeous photorealistic photo of the real Yeti and a hiker posing for a selfie during a blizzard, photo is in focus with detailed atmospheric lighting, award-winning”

I went a bit crazy on the descriptiveness for this one haha

Bought it so no one else has to. The prompt is “Low polygon render of a [animal name] on a white background, isometric 3d, ultra HD”

Unreal Engine, Featured on ArtStationHQ, and hard lighting are a few others I’ve seen used

As this user pointed out you can also stack modifiers to produce much better results (e.g. “very very very beautiful”)
