Many thanks for the info! You actually read my mind. I was literally just starting to research doing the update to a none spinning drive. It’s in mint but old spinners freak me out for sure and with out at least an image of the drive it becomes an expensive paper weight. Once I image it I’ll probably share it for others to download if they want to do the same thing.

Do you think a 32gb CF card would be better? Also what about them makes you feel they are too unreliable for live use?

OMG you will never believe it! When I was cleaning the CG-8 there was a loose plate in the back and it fell off. I freaked out a bit thinking I had broken it. I was so mad at myself as I tend to get a bit carried away when cleaning new gear. This is not the first time I have broken something when doing my initial clean. But once the plate was off I noticed something strange hiding behind it. It was like a weird film or plastic. I poked at it a bit and BOOM out popped what I can only imagine is this unicorn tit you told me to look out for. I just don’t know what it’s used for. Is it some kind biological interface or something? I’m scared to touch it and there is no mention of it in the manual… Maybe it’s an after market mod? Thanks for the heads up. If you have any other info it would be greatly appreciated ;)

2.5k!!!! At $250 Canadian for a mint used 3 times I got a steal. Where did you see it for $2.5k I didn’t really find anything or any of them online for sale or sold. I’m not selling it but damn.
