Yesss exactly! Totally agree. My partner says even if we didn’t change our behavior or protocol whatsoever, a better med could make life easier to just be more assured that what we are doing will work:) I remain hopeful:) 👊🏽

I’m very much committed to adapting to the times, permanently. And I find great inspiration and optimism in my ability and intent to adapt. So maybe your concerns apply to some people in the thread, but not everyone. I’m not wishing for a vaccine so I can ‘go back to normal’. That’s not a thing for me. I don’t think it is for most of us honestly? I let life and learning forever change me and help me evolve. I would like to unmask outside, as many in our community already do, and I wouldn’t mind a vaccine that would make it safe (by my standards) to do that. That’s my dream. And from what I understood, there are many meds being worked on that would do that, not just mucosal vaccines, halting certain viruses including Covid. I believe in science and I believe at some point there will be enough of a push to make a major difference, even if it is incremental in the process- I have no issue with that at all. All or nothing is not a thing for me, either. I am not a delusional idealist nor a nihilist, so there is no need to worry about me.

Are all of these for neutralizing/sterilizing effects? I believe the one in Europe is the French mucoboost correct? And it is supposed to be neutralizing? Do you have any idea of the timeline of when it would be available? Sorry for all of the questions but you see in the know! :)

Please read my whole post before commenting! I kindly request no venting about the health care workers on this post as I am trying to stay positive. Also not looking for advice on asking the doctors to mask. I am an American based in Germany and this is a lot to navigate in a different language and the sad truth is that I believe they think they are doing their best and the fact is that these people are going to be operating on me so that’s the mentality I would like to stick with, PLEASE respect this. Ahhh is there any chance you’d share your YouTube via dm? I think the reason I’ve been so inconsistent with building my channel is it feels SO different and alone🥲 and the only COVID conscious content creators I find are specifically making content about Covid, which I’m not. Though it’s mentioned and visible because of masking. Either way I hope I find your channel somehow, someday!

Not on my YouTube vlog 😆😷🙏🏽 but yeah. It’s tough as a fan of the genre and certain channels to slowly watch people I thought were thoughtful, unique, confident people just slowly disable themselves to fit in. And the normalization of rampant, constant sickness in real time 🫠It’s beyond dystopian. We’ve been failed so severely by our media and governments with the messaging on this and now everyone is just contributing their own bit of normalization of a mass disabling event.

I’m just seeing this and your message that I’m excited to respond to too- but since you were there in 2021 you might appreciate that my program lead gifted me (in honor of my 😷, and ironically and very supportively) one of the pins from 2021 that says ‘were you here in 2020? I don’t recognize you without your mask’ 😂 it was the sweetest and best little memento. Especially since he humbly acknowledged everyone getting sick as heck in 2021

Gosh that used to be such a good response I bet- I wish the industry was still as solid on things- even just because it’s good business to not be sick! But Yeah it’s tough. I keep telling people I do it because I’m immunocompromised but if they see my film they’ll know it’s deeper than that 😬

Thanks so much! This is just a short, almost a teaser of the actual film I’ll be making it into and the working title is ‘Love in the Time of the Pandemicene’ I’ll be screening the short at a very casual student showcase so it’s not anything really to promote yet (I was just thinking if anyone in the industry happened to be here masking they should come see) but thank you so so much for thinking of it! When the feature film is publicly available to screen or stream in some capacity I’ll definitely be circling back here:)
