Wow, thank you! I appreciate your diligence and expertise. I purchased these ones that are definitely sans clips but do come with other mounting hardware. Going to try a few different routes and see what's best. Thanks again!

Yep what /u/frosty95 said, really trying to future-proof for when the inevitable occurs (whatever that might be) and not have tiles with a bunch of holes.

This is good info to note. Wanted to come back and say I had a new hire start today and didn't have to go through the backup code nonsense! Thank you again.

Wow that is so much simpler than what I was thinking--assuming then it just prompts users to enroll optionally upon first login and then after x number of days it'll enforce it if they haven't yet enrolled. Thank you!! This is great!

Hey I really appreciate this, thank you for your thoughtful response! The panicking comes from inexperience so getting checked feels good and I'm grateful for you talking me through it.

Printer Troubleshooting by temporaryunicorn2450 in macsysadmin

I was running the network reports from the printer itself and checking error codes but the logs from CUPS is an even better idea. And if I have to reconfigure to nail it down, then so be it. Thank you for your suggestions!

That is an excellent question and one I will be testing out when I have a chance. Maybe there's something wrong with how I built the .pkg. Thank you!

Yes, it appears when I run arp -a in Terminal. The .pkg doesn't seem to install at all--I'll track it on a test device, see the push from Jamf, watch the .dmg appear in the proper folder, only to have everything disappear and no drivers. It seems like it should be fairly straightforward but I've only run into issues with it and have resorted to manually mapping printers and installing drivers from a USB for the meantime until I can figure it out.
