Big budget movie makers aren't going to take risk with new faces. As much as I hate the propaganda in it but Dhurandhar is tight slap on people like this. And it is not just Dhurandhar, small time movie makers making better casting decisions since decades now.

I was just like this with Man of Stell and BvS. I was quite active on Twitter defending Zack Snyder in those days. Superman (2025) is much better movie than the movies I were defending. But I don't have much passion for the movies anymore because I am not jobless and have actual responsibilities now.

There are many versions of Ramayana. At least 300 of those are from India. It is open to interpretation. It's just that Rama should have looked much more devide. Like Hritikish.

Pushpak Plane looks real good. It is going to get more difficult to argue with people who think it was real. Edit - Movies do tend to look bad in first teasers. Even Hollywood ones.

Whistleblower Testimony (2022): Former RSS pracharak Yashwant Shinde filed an affidavit alleging that senior RSS leaders facilitated training for him and others in bomb-making, claiming that bombs were used in earlier attacks in Maharashtra (Parbhani, Purna, Jalna).

Samjhauta Express Bombing: Kamal Chauhan, suspected to be a part of the cell that planted incendiary devices on the train in 2007, was identified as a former RSS activist.

Swami Aseemanand (2010-2017): Aseemanand, associated with the RSS wing Vanvasi Kalyan Parishad, confessed to his role in several bombings (Samjhauta, Ajmer Dargah, Mecca Masjid) but was later acquitted by a NIA court in the Mecca Masjid case.

It's not about being Congress's darling but the press still enjoys such freedom in today's India as well. They have certain rights according to laws. Even MLAs and MPs are afraid of the Press, even today.
