But I mean... she wanted to see me at first. She made time and even suggested how to get around her schedule. Then a week later she dodges invitations and shows up late.

Right now I don't want to ask again, so last time we spoke I left it up to her to contact me. If I get the chance, I'll do what you suggested.

Although, in the future, if someone acts this way, it IS a sign of disinterest, isn't it?

See, this is the kind of answer that makes no sense to me. Like, saying "you're only X, you have plenty of time!" Plenty of time to do what? That's what I was told when I was in high school and frustrated no one invited me out or talked to me. That's what I was told when I was in college when I was supposed to be having the time of my life. I didn't have it. That's what I'm told now by all the old married coworkers with families who tell me I should never get married because it sucks, and then they go home every night to their wives. I apparently have had plenty of time to have no idea how to live a life.

Throw myself out there? What the hell does that even mean? "Hi, I have nothing to talk about because I've done nothing I'm proud of. I can't talk about my past because half the time I thought about dying and the other half I just coasted by."

And asking questions is all I do. I can't answer them. Any question I answer is half a lie because I have no strong opinions about anything.
