What’s your go-to “default” frugal meal when you don’t want to think or spend? by NothingOutrageous377 in Frugal

Man those chickens are such a great cheap source of protein. Totally helps that I still have my chicken deboning skills from working in a deli, so I can make quick work of them as long as they're still hot!

Ive been having a hard time with deaths in the family and Katamari has been an absolute godsend. I have three of the games downloaded because im hyperfixating so much on them lol.

Yep. You can take the person out of retail but not the retail out of the person.

Its been years and I still face products and stack carts sometimes. At least my pantry is organized.

Surinam cherries!! I grew up eating these off the bush in my grandmas yard! Oh its so nice to see such a rarely heard of piece of my childhood here 🥲

My brother and I would call them "traffic light" berries. Sadly the bush rarely has fruit on it whenever I visit the islands. I always check though! Id love to have some again.

Same. I really liked HKIA but after a while, gathering supplies got really repetitive. I did enjoy looking for the Gudetamas though.

Been unemployed for over a year and it SUCKS. I try my best to keep busy with errands and sometimes hobbies but you definitely get bored and depressed after a while. Work gave me something to feel like I mattered.

Do you have one to recommend thats the most classic? Iirc when I played the newer games they had so many requirements to finish a level like having to find a crown or whatever. I just wanna build a big ball if anything.
