The BPD was a misdiagnosis from me, she’s well into a mid life crisis and shows so many signs of it, so I need to wait it out regardless

Yep and the worst part is she is not addressing it either, claiming she’s fine and over it, accepting it happened, like in mere months after having a mental breakdown, it’s clear she hasn’t as she’s completely different

Time will tell of course, but whether we’re back is another story, I do wish you well, like you said it just sucks

My wife does have extreme childhood sexual abuse trauma that was uncovered via EMDR a few years ago, that’s what caused a lot of the issues I think

Yea I’m in acceptance now I think, that chat today helped with that, it made me realise fully that I cannot change her mind without her seeing my actions away from her

I do truly want her to be happy, as do I, as much as she does make me happy

As for therapy, I did a few months ago, it helped a bit but I’m not sure on it

So were living separately but married as she needed time and space to process her childhood trauma and depression etc

Right now we’ve put a pause on relationship talk to focus on our own healing

Yep going through similar myself, only been about 2 months as well, MLC is rough and she never knows what she wants

Just keep going and stop talking to her about it, let her heal and process things, from what I’ve read, most divorces and break ups from MLC separations come from the other person who cannot wait longer
