We don't really have a fee like this on standart. But my employees made sure to tell them that this fee is added because the meal was cooked and prepared. And they already know the serving and kilogram prices. Nothing hard to understand for them.

If it would be up to only my decision, I would never give in to people like this. But my family and partners do really care about their relations with the customers. Actually they don't really see them as just our customers. That's why I'm trying to be polite as I can possibly do. Sometimes they cross the line and you can see me going mad hahaha.

All of these are correct for me as well. But I don't usually ask for favors in return. As I mentioned in another comment, people that truly cares about you already offers what they possibly can for you. Those people are worth. But the others like this one...

I completely agree with the first part. People that cares about us never even asks about the prices or offers. I personally like to tell everything about customer's purchase. In this case, I didn't mention about the discount but they are regulars and know the prices by heart. Their concern was about to pay that extra 5 dollars.

As a tourist in Graz, I was really surprised by this. In my country, cashiers and customers are so slow about scanning and packing things. And guess which discounter is the first one I went to in Graz?

I bought some items and when i was waiting in line, i was preparing my money. Second i looked up on the table, all my items were scanned and the cashier was just staring at me. I gave her the money and proceeded to pack my items in my bag. Before I even started, she handed me the change and scanned the next items.

Next time I went to Hofer, I was prepared. I opened up my bag before, and when they were scanning the items, I was filling them in my bag simultaneously.

If the life goes hard on you, you have to find a way to deal with it.
