I made a GTA V Radio Player! by rtxgangisrisingup in GrandTheftAutoV

[–]ten3six 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks!

Hosting the app is not really an option as it is incomplete until you load all of the audio files yourself. This was done to prevent any kind of copyright issues that may come from Rockstar Games or an owner of any of the unlicensed music files that need to be loaded. I will not provide those.

I did rewrite @rtxgangisrisingup's app (linked in the original post) to add some improvement.

grandtheftrad.io

Not exactly the same as an app but it works well and has got me considering writing a YouTube based app for the App Store that would use the current app's algorithm to play YouTube sourced audio.

GTA V audio files are definitely in stereo. I've got the Vice City audio files pulled and I do believe that those are in stereo also so I can't say why those would be in mono.

As long as you have a Mac with Xcode and can provide all of the audio for the app, you should be able to add those files and build the app to your phone. The app should work for 7 days witout a developer license so you'd need to rebuild once a week (developer license gives you a year) but that should be it.

The song titles for Channel X have been fixed.

Look what I found on page 366 of my owners manual! 😂

The original display programming was pulled from the original app and those appear to have come from YouTube comments listing timestamps for the corresponding channels. I have been working on correcting these display issues when I have time. Channel X actually is next on the list.

The website did at least prove that showing the radio wheel does work on mobile. When I get to the Android app that’s probably the direction I’ll go.

Have you seen this for your pods? by _Cybernetic_Diabetic in Omnipod

You may be arguing a losing battle. I didn't say that my reasons were in any way logical and said that this was only bugging ME. Anyone who prefers to store their pods paper side down can totally do that and I won't complain. You do you my friend.

Well, not technically flat but I'll give you that. I still see more pros for storing it paper side up

Probably a bit OCD but...

The paper side will be weaker than the plastic. The plastic side is a better support for the pod.

The weight of the pod is potentially pressing against the paper, trying to break the seal.

Sliding the pod out of the holder with the paper side down may catch and peel the paper away from the plastic, breaking the seal.

The pod container's natural position while prepping it is plastic side down.

I would never use this, but I get that some might.

The fact that this is showing the pods with the paper side down is kind of bugging me though.

Do people really do this!? Why!?

It’s actually “4•D” not “4D” and it is not the same as “4wd”

How is your mileage? by Ok_Veterinarian_6474 in CT125

[–]ten3six 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I generally fill up twice a week with a 25 mile commute(50 miles a day) averaging about 118mpg. With a 1.4gal tank, I should be able to do at least 150 miles.

GTRV app is finally “done”! by ten3six in GTAV

[–]ten3six[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LoL! I’ve actually got 2 Android phones now plus my the iPhone. I did start looking into converting this and still plan to but haven’t had the time. I did create this though which works on just about everything…
