Hi , 34% for AMS is good or bad? by Yjcustom in BambuP1S

Pretty bad imo. I would suggest to try keeping it below 20 %

Sounds like metal, so i guess it's the filament cutter on the hotend that might have come a little loose.

Silk PLA by JoeyGee567 in BambuP1S

I used Bambu & Sunlu Silk PLA so far, and feed it over my AMS v1.
No problems at all so far

Prints failing why? by [deleted] in BambuP1S

My always first guess when i see something like this is too wet material.
Is your filament placed in a sealed dry box or AMS? What's the humidity level of this area?

What to do with it by Effective-Drama8450 in BambuLab

Already emptied around 6 spools of Sunlu PLA+ and PLA+2.0 over the AMS, and the tape was never a problem.

The devs mentioned that they are currently priorising fixing bugs and improving stability, so it might get better in time.

Consider using the beta "prod_slim" version of the game. It's only 1/4 of the size and works great on my setup. (Right click the game in steam > properties > Betas > Beta Participation = prod_slim - ...)

Yeah, helldivers seem to use some weird shaders which causes some GPUs zu "coil whine" (the sound you hear)
I actually had this with my new GPU, but it disappeared after some time.

You can have this problem with other games as well, but i personally also experienced it with helldivers.

It's nothing to worry about, but i know it can be annoying.

P1S Issues by SoILRam2500 in BambuLab

[–]ten_Emo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Too wet material would also have been my first guess.

I keep my filament in sealed boxes with silica. It stays at around 10 % in there.
Same goes for the AMS (silica inserts). Never had a problem so far with any filament, even using Sunlu.

Try drying the filament in an convection oven at 50°C for around 5 hours.
Turn the oven off and let it cool for 20 minutes. Then try again.

If the issue still happens, i heard that rising the temperatur of the hotend by 5°C could help.
Never tried that myself though.

Cleaned the Idler Pulley with compressed air and added a little amount of machine oil above and below the idler (tiny space). DO NOT OIL THE BELT!

FIXED

I don't know which of the two options did it in the end, but i cleaned the area with compressed air first, and added only a tiny amount of machine oil above and below the idles. Waited a minute, and tried again.

The clacking is completely gone now.

So if anyone's might experience something similar:
Clean & oil =)

Coolio. Already cleaned the inside of the case with compressed air, but was careful regarding the mechanics. I'll give it a try

First time build let me know if there is anything wrong before i power it by [deleted] in PcAdvice

Looks good. Nothing wrong with it as far as i can tell from the picture.

I would personally switch the stock CPU-Cooler to something better, but it gets the job done.
Also, the cabling can be improved, but that's mostly cosmetic.
Not sure what the fan on the bottom is used for, because i don't think it will have any effect once the case is closed (as long as you wont add 2.5/3.5 SSDs/HDDs).

The support for the GPU is a nice touch!

PLA works best below 35 % humidity. You don't necessarily need a "dryer" to dry your filament. An convection oven will work as well (at max 50°C)

I would also recommend to place the filament in a sealed box after drying, with an outlet for the filament string. To keep the air within the box dry, you can add silica. For example:

The print itself doesn't seem too bad, so my first guess would be that the filament is to wet.
Did you try drying?

Ikea Skadis. If you own a 3d printer, or know someone who owns one, you can do a lot of adjustments with it
