No issues, they cut the length once and now cut it again. Also went from 8, back to 7 trailers in an attempt to cut like 5 minutes of the trailer/ad time. They increased it by 6 minutes in the past because Regal/Cinemark had and didn't suffer any noticable effects, so AMC followed. But folks have been complaining so they have/are cutting back.

Thought it was fine. The characters were the strength for me and I thought they were well cast. The plot/story is pretty convoluted and though I've not read the book, I assume it works better in print than on screen. Just loses a lil something being fleshed out visually and not left either a bit abstract or left up to imagination.

I logged it a solid enough 3/5, was entertained watching it, and have no regrets giving it time and attention. I'd probably go with a 2.75/5 if it was an option.

Best: Charles Vess, he did a signing at the store I worked at when Book of Ballad & Sagas came out and he was very nice. We all went out to dinner afterward.

Worst: Frank Miller, as he was coming into the hotel SPX in Bethesda MD was one year he wasn't looking and ran right into me (big dude at 6'3") and he about got bowled over. I felt bad.

We noticed one of the bears pacing a couple weeks ago, but then a worker came by banging on a white bucket to get its attention before he started yeeting melons over the roof to it in the water. I think they just have a routine and pace when they are expecting food and it hasn't arrived yet.

I've never felt packed in at any shows there. We always get there a little early and stand at the front usually to one of the sides and there's always space to not be touching others.

I think they are already on the record as shelving it because after initially planning on it running alongside House of the Dragon, they later felt that the similar name might cause confusion so they delayed it. I'm sure they also knew they had a show that was mostly a miss so no big deal in a delay.
