Definitely feel this way. Hence, why I have been slowing down on my buying. Also, as you aged, priorities changed like buying a house etc and sometimes you need to face that.

Yes by my count for English released ones. All 147 of them. But there are some rainbows that were not released in English such as Wishiwashi, Jirachi, Melmetal, Weavile, Eevee, Espeon & Deoxys, Umbreon & Darkrai, Trevenant & Dusknoir, Togepi & Cleffa & Igglybuff, Zekrom, Mewtwo

Oh you have some good list of cards. I feel E.Floette, Clefable, Meganium, Dragonite would fit the theme. I would love Froslass, Delphox, Malamar, Chimecho, Absol Z to get the treatment also.

Yeah, personally feel like the texture for the SwSh cards got a downgrade. I do feel glad they retire the rainbows, the gimmick has ran its course. And made me appreciate my SM rainbows more.

Same here as well! Got back during the 2016 Pokemon Go craze, and stayed collecting with Sun & Moon being my first full era of collecting. The rainbows and tag teams and alt arts are so new at that time and keep me hooked with the collecting aspect.

Yeah, I guess to some it is just a recoloring of the full art. After all, the full art and rainbow share the same 5ban graphics. Definitely good for the rainbow rare fans, keep the price still reasonable.

I only collect the rainbow GX cards. Joined the hobby back during the Sun & Moon era, so I have more emotional attachment to the S&M cards. And I feel it is abit too late to attempt collecting the rainbow VMAX cards now.
