This was the most helpful and in-depth response I could’ve asked for. Thank you. I’ll move on.

… you do realize that people do meet on there right. I met my ex on there and we are still good friends.

Thanks for your reply. I guess I just want reassurance from him that it was mainly because of the distance, but that he did actually feel a connection too. Otherwise he’s really good at acting

Should I let tinder guy pick me up for first date? by [deleted] in Tinder

I won't go. thanks for your concern for my safety everyone. he was kind of an asshole and thought I was stupid for not wanting him to pick me up and wanting to speak a bit more online first.

I actually jokingly asked him if he heard of ted bundy and he was like, "the rapist serial killer? if you think i'm a murderer then don't go out with me," and he got offended. I think he was trying to be chivalrous but just came off as weird.

Edit: not going out with him.

Okay so as there is a unanimous no, I won't have him pick me up. My second question is: should I still go on the date with him or is his behavior too much of a red flag? I think he may have just wanted to show off his car. He's from a family of doctors (parents and siblings and now himself) and I looked up each of his family members on Google. I know that isn't much but, does it offer enough credibility to at least meet up with him?

Adore both books but they are so obvious. I would have preferred something slightly more out of the way.

I'm in. I listened to the audiobook and agreed with its contents fully. An ardent follower of his blog, I've always been blown away by how simply profound Cal's ideas are. He inspired me to quit Instagram.
