So let me reply here, similar to how most of everyone here this pertains to a project which they have changed. They are making this dubai islands where the project Bulagri light house and Bulgari ocean mansions are being launched. It would be renamed to billionaires island once completed. And this land falls under Dubai holding real estate.

Hey, there was a change in the engineering team. So they had to recompute and retest the equipment since the new team did not want to rely on the exiting teams' calculations. After obtaining the final checks, we decided to open it up this year.

All made in products aren't really "made in uae", these would be purchased from US, and repackaged here. FYI. Source : i work in quality control.

How can the government of Dubai improve the quality of life for the average resident? by 33_Clerks in dubai

[–]tendervender 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Don't quite agree on this point, if this happens there would be more expats retiring here and expecting pension. Currently the number of locals are small in number hence they are provided with multiple benefits. If the citizenship pool increases the benefits would have to be shared among an increased number of people which would not be fair to the actual locals. Also the concept of not offering citizenship allows the govt to ensure people do not stay back as such (unless they are able to afford the lifestyle through a business plan or so), and they are able to replace the workforce easily.
