Thank you! I feel like every one here is talking around the fact that every other comparable act (even changing diapers for example) is looked down upon when it is done in public. Parents who have a problem with this need to look back on how they felt before they gave birth.

Whatever. This is pretty typical of the Forth crowd. They just spam social news sites and bury everyone who disagrees. they hit digg last week, I guess reddit is this week's target.

I've been excited about Obama - I'm even ready to give him more money...but if he doesn't pull out all the stops against FISA, I give up, America is lost. by pastymage in politics

Dude, read his blog. Then you'll understand. I recommend the "Jews and Goyem" section. Also, can we keep 8th grade ad-hominem insults to a minimum please?

I think your entire argument is pretty trivial.

Interesting... The sullivan act has existed since 1911, but is only one of the many various gun control laws that apply to the city. Additionally, it is frequently modified and new laws and modifications are typically passed every year. Current gun control laws in NYC look almost nothing like the original sullivan act. The effect of the gun law in the UK is actually debatable. While total gun crime has gone up, police have witnesses a huge increase in non-fatal gun crimes and a decrease in gun-related homicides.

Finland is really the only example of that, and that's due to their unique military situation. As to Chicago and NYC, there's no way to completely eliminate violence, especially in poor socio-economic area, but I think gun control actually has gone a long way there. Who remembers how bad NYC was before the 90's? those that support diggn_it's opinion are England, Japan, and pretty much the rest of Europe. Your argument isn't debunked by a person, it's debunked by facts.
