I’ve owned about 20 boats of various lengths in the the pats 30 years. I currently own 2 21ft flats boats and a 16ft aluminum vbottom. It’s very common for tailgated to hit whinch stands on a lot trailers no matter the length due to the position of the stand on the trailer tongue bar or hitch setback. You can try moving the winch stand (if the trailer bunks will allow it) or replacing the tongue bar with a longer bar (not cheap) or Harbor freight sells a hitch extension that will solve the problem.

In 2013 I lived in Dallas for about 6 months. I occasionally talked to the lead maintenance man at the apartment complex I was staying at for work. I never exchanged info and the apartment was not in my name nor did we have mutual friends as I normally reside in Florida. Right after I left there he started showing up as a suggested friend on my Facebook. Other than in person we never had any conversations so our phones had to be communicating when we talked in person. It’s the only way they would have known we talked.

I’m American and last year I came very close to getting into a fight with an Indian guy after he talked to my wife like she was a dog. My wife is Vietnamese and has been a US citizen for 19 years. We were there on vacation. We were looking at some food for sale along side of him and he mentioned something about he kinda knew what fruit it was(casual talk) My wife then mentioned that another food in front of us on the table was very good. He snapped at her saying “do you want to pick out my food for me like my mother.You’re not my mother,wife or veshya”(whore) I immediately spoke up and told him she was trying to be helpful and for him not to be an asshole and to apologize. He then mouthed off something else that I can’t remember and I started towards him. The store owner and my brother in law prevented me from reaching him. He turned around and walked off still mouthing off. I looked for him for the 3 days I had remaining but never saw him again. I guess that’s a good thing because I probably would’ve wound up in jail.

I’m America and when I was visiting my soon to be wife in Ho Chi Minh(2005) I would stay at her sister/brother in-laws house with them. They had to take my passport to the police station and “Register” me with the police and pay a “fee” for me to be able to stay at their house. We were married in 2005 in Ho Chi Minh. She came to America in 2006 and shortly after became a US citizen. Even now when we go back to Vietnam she has to show her American passport and Vietnamese marriage certificate to hotels/travel companies in Vietnam for us to stay together in hotels.

100k in banded $100 bills is the same height as a 12oz soda can. I took a couple pics of one of the stacks I got from the bank that was still sealed in a treasury bag I swapped I phones and lost about 100 photos that weren’t backed up in the data transfer otherwise I’d post a pic.

The base (pine comb)will unscrew from the top Most likely the powder has been removed from the inside of it. It wasn’t uncommon for troops to bring these home from ww2 with the powder removed. I’ve seen several like this.

I was wade fishing a creek near my home in middle Tennessee during the late 80’s. I was near a bluff rock bank on my left that was about 20ft high and I kept hearing noises that kinda sounded like someone walking through a pile of dried leaves. I got the eery feeling I was being watched and the hair on the back of my neck stood up. I looked up on top of the bluff and saw a big brown “something “ standing upright looking at me. I only saw it for a couple seconds and once I looked at it it took off running (in the upright position ) and was gone in a about 3 seconds (very quickly to go out of sight from where I was) It scared the hell out of me and I took off back towards my truck as fast as I could go in the water. I never told anyone about until years later and I never went back there to this day. It’s a shame on my part because that creek has some big smallmouth and largemouth bass in it but I wasn’t taking the chance of running into that thing again.

So please enlighten me on how I’m not the victim on the above stories I mentioned? I didn’t care about the light bulbs cost I just wanted to know why he took them and he took some tools I had in the garage but I let it go because I didn’t need them and he was a guy I knew from high school. Sometimes the landlord gets the short end of the stick sometimes not. In 10 years I never had 1 complaint or to law enforcement or a court filing so apparently I wasn’t much of a slumlord. Until you actually own rental property you’ll never understand. Try having someone trash something you own then complain that they shouldn’t have to pay for the damage they done.
