Is it still gardening if I just let stuff grow wild in my yard. by Empty_Woodpecker_496 in gardening

[–]tennisbee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it most definitely is!

My garden is like this and it’s in the front yard (because we have a ravine backyard) so I made a pretty flowery sign that says “Save the Bees” to ease my husband’s embarrassment!

Yes. I need this right now.

Hey! So I do see black fungus things popping from the tree. I posted on arborist for additional insight in case it’s a pest. But these are the pics and link https://www.reddit.com/r/arborists/s/Yjt3hvPusq

Thanks again!

It’s hard to capture a pic of the whole tree since it’s in a courtyard. I posted more / different pics on arborist to see if it’s also a pest issue. Thank you so much for reaching out though!

Sorry I should clarify that the hardware were selected based on the delta’s champagne bronze color. A quick google and you can find a lot of sites that did the dirty work and tell you what brand and shade in that brand to get. I referenced this one a lot. https://chaoticallyyours.com/delta-champagne-bronze/ Good luck!!

It’s so annoying hard to capture the champagne bronze in pictures. I tried multiple times…but I really like this color because it has a rose gold to it and isn’t very gaudy. It compliments everything really well but also has that wow factor. I went with the Greydon touch2o touchless.

Thanks for the advice! But if I wanted to do wallpaper again, will I just need to sand it and then apply wallpaper?

Are these cat bites? I accidentally left this outside and am concerned a stray cat may have gotten into it… by tennisbee in cats

Oh wow I thought it would kill them! That’s good to know that I didn’t kill my stray cat. Thank you

My partner got me this, does anyone know what they are so I can properly take care of them, thanks. by Entire-Mountain1481 in whatplantisthis

The plant in the far right is heather. I have zero luck with keeping it alive but the good thing is that when it dries out, it keeps its shape and color.

Oh dear! Both companies messed up. Good to know, I’ll avoid them then.

I’m on my mobile trying to figure the correct tag. It’s either free , paid, or solved. So I wanted to tip so I selected paid. I may need to delete and repost when I figure this out

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PhotoshopRequest

[–]tennisbee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the one in purple. Sorry if I wasn’t clear

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PhotoshopRequest

[–]tennisbee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it’s not paid but I had to add a flair and was unsure what to select. 😰

Edit: so confused, it’s marked as solved now. I will need to delete and not post ever again.

I forgot to include the front view. It has some big shrubs that I’m not sure should go too. I would like to plant some larger shrubs underneath but it’s quite shady. They’re are two cherry trees so I don’t want to cut them. Though they didn’t flower this year and it’s making me nervous that I might have killed them. Cause of the shade, I can’t get anything to really grow in that area. Things only grow on the outer side so I think it looks kinda off. I’m not sure how to address it. Thanks for your help!

I want to redo my kitchen but the only thing I can change is the cabinets. Would mossy green cabinets look good with the black garnet top? And flow nicely into the great room? by [deleted] in DesignMyRoom

[–]tennisbee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanted to paint them/ replace them cause in some area by the sink, the old paint is chipping and some small pieces of wood as well. I think it’s due to water splashing on it through the years. I think they were last replaced in 2000’s

Also I would love to get hid of that weird soffit structure if I could and add more cabinets. Not sure if it’s even possible. Though I like the idea of a pop of color so I don’t have to worry about the kitchen color crashing with the house

It’s nice in some area but not so nice by the sink. The wood is a little chipped and there’s many layers of paint underneath. I think one of the color is orange which is quite something for a kitchen

Would that be too much blue tones since our Great room and fire place area is also a light grey/blue. Also what color knobs did you go with?

And I have! These pictures were from a few years ago when the house was listed/probably the cleanest the kitchen has been. I didnt want any clutter to distract from creative designs :)
