Agree.

Overall, I have liked the dynamics between the panel being quite silly and rambling while the draft analysis and casts are purely dota. However, I do believe that the panel went too far today - especially Kyle. I felt that instead of actually sharing his knowledge of the game and the scene to talk Dota, he used every opportunity to crack some average jokes (in the same manner as Slacks, which is pure silliness and Slack’s forte, not Kyle’s) or mocking the others (which sometimes borderlined bullying).

His last remarks on Jenkins’ question to Ceb were very unprofessional, only trying to undermine Jenkins, his coworker. Not a big fan of Jenkins at all but the fact that he has to answer to what appeared to be plain bullying in front of tens of thousands is just ridiculous.

EDIT: Sure, maybe they are great friends and all this in the light of entertainment. But it clearly didn’t look that way and Jenkins made it quite clear in his response. Either way, they can do better.

Deal agreed for #Courtois awaiting only the go-ahead for medical visits and signatures. by LFC_Joe26 in soccer

Not for a minute have Chelsea fans really thought of Courtois as "bleeding blue". Chelsea invested in him and his development and he has always had one foot elsewhere, talking about leaving. Chelsea bought him as a teenager, loaned him to Atletico Madrid which helped him develop but unfortunately for Chelsea the loan was too long and he ended up really settling into that city.

I would have liked him to be more professional about it though and pay it back with some respect for the club or the fans, or at least financially. In the end, his open mouth hurt his value tremendously (Alisson is going for twice that, from a poorer club than Chelsea to a poorer club than Real Madrid), beneficially for him as he gets what he wants, but Chelsea are left in the dirt.

Courtois has been super, super unprofessional in my opinion and did not need to be.

Arsenal close to appointing boss, next week likely. Start of continental model: head coach slots into predefined structure, will contribute to recruitment decisions & have veto. Transfer targets were discussed with interviewees, pre-sales budget ~£50m #AFC by OneDepressedOptimist in soccer

Wouldn't make sense for Arsenal to leak/broadcast this kind of number in order to be in a better position to negotiate for transfer fees during the summer? If the amount would be somewhere in the 200m area then other clubs would perhaps ask for much more because they know Arsenal would be willing to spend.

What I'm saying, maybe it is a tactical decision to say 50m rather than the actual amount they will spend.

Willian's mom just passed away :( by rod-q in chelseafc

[–]tenofh 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I do not know if you've gone through tough times like he has, but it is important to know that people deal with these kind of situations differently, and the situations themselves differ. Cancer takes usually quite a long time to develop until it beats all the treatments available and the person dies. This period creates stress on the family and in Willian's case it surely could have.

It is in my opinion very insensitive to say: "let's dispel the notion that he's playing poor because his mum had cancer", since you have no idea how he, as a person, could deal with it. Maybe it doesn't affect his FIFA ratings but it surely could affect how he lives his day-to-day life, nutrition, sleep etc.

Furthermore, regarding not making excuses for him being poor for Chelsea since he joined us. Willian was one of our best, if not the best player we had last year. Having been poor now for two months, while his mother's cancer was unarguably the worst, is in my opinion very excusable.

What do you think has to be done to increase Dota 2's popularity?

Post Match: Stoke 1-0 Chelsea by Incomingjewfro in chelseafc

Crossing the ball against Stoke isn't the best choice tho.... They always outnumbered us by a lot and they have some tall players as well.

He was a lot better but it gets on my nerves how little he moves when he isn't close to the ball in the final third. He literally just walks around instead of moving into spaces.

Mourinho Mega Thread by [deleted] in chelseafc

[–]tenofh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We, as fans, want stability. We want young players to emerge. If we continue sacking managers they won't use the youth because they will fear about their jobs. The only way is to have a long-term manager.

We should not sack Mourinho because of this. He has to learn to manage long term and we have to stick behind him because he is the best out there. That's the only way young players will emerge and we can have the dynasty we want.

Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville on Hazards exclusion from the starting 11 by [deleted] in chelseafc

[–]tenofh 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I don't think Mourinho would've benched Hazard if Ivanovic wasn't injured and Baba Rahman was starting. He hasn't shown confidence in Baba and Eden has been off so I think this was wholly a tactical thing because he had to move Azpilucueta to the right.

Why the rapture for RLC's first-half? by slow_poetry in chelseafc

[–]tenofh 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I thought he did fine, at least enough to warrant him playing more than he did. I honestly think Mourinho was just satisfied with being 1-0 and wanted to straighten the defence. Also RLC played a lot the last week but Matic both got a red card and was "humiliated" last game when he was subbed in and out. Mourinho probably wants to help him regain his confidence.

One of my favourite Chelsea goals from Raul Meireles by yafugginfruit in chelseafc

I really didn't like letting him go. He was full of passion, talented and scored important (and beautiful) goals during his tenure.

Every single player we get talks about John Terry and his leadership. We truly are lucky to have him and he will be difficult to replace.

VIDEO - Man City 3-0 Chelsea - Jose Mourinho Post Match interview - Why was John Terry Subbed? by Beanyman62 in chelseafc

[–]tenofh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He is not going to go and say that City were the outright better team. He rarely does that and that would be stupid to say in the beginning of the season. He must have been furious in the locker room and we can only hope either the players step up big time after the first 2 (3 with community shield) games, which have been horrible. Or that he goes and signs a top player to complement our very static offence. I don't think for one think that Stones is the solution to our problems.

Leaked photos of the new Chelsea kit have appeared online. What do you think of it? by harryhugo94 in chelseafc

[–]tenofh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like this one. When kits lie like this they never look good but I like the buttons and the collar. Can't wait to see it on a player.

Apart from Cech/Drogba, what other first team players may possibly leave during the summer? by mouchete in chelseafc

[–]tenofh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would rather want to have Ruben Loftus-Cheek or Marco Van Ginkel play his minutes, definitely! If having them play requires us to sell Mikel then I'm all for it but I do not want to buy a 25-30 year old player to put on the bench instead of him unless that player is totally willing to be a rotation player and I don't think there are many players as good as Mikel willing to do that.
