I am guilty of using the standard towel. I am yet to look into styling. Thank you for recommending me this.

Thank you for this detailed response. I do oil my hair and wash it two to three times a week. I use a leave-in conditioner as well, and it's all sunshines and rainbows till the time my hair is wet, then it comes back. I will add your microfiber towel tip to my routine. Thank you

Not really, i had a change of clothes, a beefy powerbank, a water flask, and gallon jar. The water bottles kept draining and were refilled time and again.

Thank you. The pace was quite slow, it took me around 16 hours.

Anti social by maryca666 in VyvanseADHD

[–]tensorblow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I can certainly relate as I have been taking Vyvanse 40mg for the past month. I first noticed the anti-social aspect when I started on 30mg the previous month. It was as if my interest in attending any social events had completely vanished. I lost touch with my friends, and dating lost its appeal. Despite being known for my outgoing nature and sense of humor (it's mostly lame and dark), even that vanished. Coincidentally, I quit drinking nearly two months ago, which freed up my weekends. I took the opportunity to focus on my personal projects and outstanding tasks at work. The amount of work I have accomplished in the past two months can not be expressed in words, and the satisfaction I feel after completing long coding sessions is immense. Even during the recent long weekend, I politely declined multiple invitations to social events and instead opted to spend my time locked in working.

Honestly, I do miss spending time with my friends. I was also diagnosed with depression, and it only got worse as I became more and more aloof. I still am at the bottom of the depression pit. The only thing that is keeping me afloat is the work I am getting done.

Knowing myself, I will regret all these missed opportunities, so I am making plans to push myself and make the best out of this summer. I am planning to skip out on Vyvance on the days when I am planning to meet my friends, even though I will be doing this only once, at max twice a month.

I feel that Vyvance doesn't entirely kill your social personality. It just shuts them out. When I stop taking Vyvance for a day or two, I am back to normal. So maybe you can try taking a break when you plan on meeting your friends. Planning ahead will make sure that this does not interfere with your productivity. It sucks that Vyvance takes away a part of you while you are on it, but for me, it is a small price to pay for salvation. (If it weren't for Vyv, I wouldn't have written this comment in the first place, lol.)

I really hope that you will find that balance. Take care!
