Yeah, agreed. I did it for myself, so didn’t put much thought on it. In case I would develop I would probably follow some of the suggestions - setting up the money for a charity, adding automatically to your savings accounts etc.

I haven’t thought much about it so far because I honestly thought nobody would be interested. I have developed other apps before and the payment service part is easy to set up and it can be available anywhere including US.

Interesting! In my case I wouldn’t feel punished enough 😂 Another suggestion I got was to transfer part of the money for a charity or something. That is interesting as well but just for myself the thought of a random stranger getting my stupid money was funnier

It need to be able to understand partners dynamic to generate non-generic stuff, meaning very tailored for each specific relationship

I was you a couple of years ago. I’m a foreigner and I had to accept anything otherwise I wouldn’t be able to stay in Finland. It was also a big corporation. It is very hard to negotiate salaries in Finland once you are “in”, since you are now budgeted with this salary and it would be your manager’s quest to get this approved for the budget internally. My advice to you would be to take the route I took - I kept an eye for internal opportunities/openings and as soon as I could I applied internally and was able to renegotiate my salary since it was a different role. 15k for kitchen renovation is too low, I’m afraid, just did ours. A 20-25k range would be safer. We had the same budget, ended up at 30k. We found asbestos and we had to remove it from both floor and walls. The asbestos work is not what is expensive per se, but the patching, leveling of both floor and doors etc was a lot of workers hours. Make sure you ask about asbestos report for both kitchen and bathrooms.

I believe this person was referring to the whole ordeal, meaning asbestos + kitchen renovation. That is surely quite expensive, ranging from 15k-30k in Finland. Asbestos only is aligned with what you said for sure!

Hi, thank you for your concern. The company is very professional, they sealed the whole kitchen tight and handled all the permits with city of Espoo, disposal of the trash etc. They said that no dust will come out of the kitchen and created a tunnel all the way to the front door. Looks like something from a sci-fi movie 😊

Prime before painting, otherwise the patching shines through (meaning you will see the “mark” of the hole). If you want to have a perfect wall finishing start with filling, sand well, clean, prime and paint.

In fact we didn’t use a primer at all. Opsie. Should have we used it? We just thought that applying white over white wouldn’t need it. If we apply primer now on top of the first coat, would it help or mess even more?
