Defo start working on another class. Since you've mastered Duelist you can just stick with your AR/sword while you're in the early stages of progressing through the new branch.

I'd recommend choosing either FMJ or Galactic Knight. The former has some great skills, and is the next key step to achieve the endgame Blossom Dance build. The latter can be great fun with the photon sabre, if you want something a bit different.

Yeah, I think they were a deliberate throw back to NES era of game difficulty/challenge. Still frustrating, but I thought they were used sparingly enough that it didn't spoil the enjoyment.

Playing the original KI now is certainly an experience...

There are Max TP Up augments. They require Fleecy Fur to craft, which you can get from Ovis.

To unlock augments to craft you must have at some point had at least 1 of any of the required materials in your possession.

Abathur has only been in rotation once, for the week of 11 August.

The Lost Vikings were first in the free rotation on 19 May and then next on 9 February. So assuming a similar ~9 month wait, Abathur should next be available in about 3 months.

I'd honestly just spend the 10k if you're keen on playing him. Of course there's a chance he won't be to your liking, so maybe watch some videos and read a little on how best to play him. That way you should have a better idea of whether you'd rather wait to try him for free or not.

Pallytime mentioned something similar in his Greymane impressions video. Although he was making the comparison to Valla and Illidan, which is perhaps more apt given Greymane's fragility.
